By some miracle the kids did not get up before 6, instead they got up at 6:15. Paul and I had hid eggs around the downstairs and down they went to scoop them up. Nothing to exciting. I used a very minimal amount of candy because I didn't want them to be wild and crazy for the day. They also got a pack of "Club Penguin" trading cards. It's their new thing. It's a Disney internet game that surprisingly even my 3 year can play.
Here is nice morning shot of everyone looking a little sleepy. I did make a good healthy breakfast but not before the kids managed to eat several pieces of candy.
Later that night we had our friends, the Allreds, over for dinner. We unfortunately did not have the traditional Easter dinner of Ham. Instead I just grilled some burgers and we had a nice BBQ. It was fun to break up the monotony of the day. I love listening to General Conference, don't get me wrong, but being trapped in the house for 2 days makes the kids a little crazy. Still love them though!
